His sire is the famous Flying Penske and his dam is Boc's Slim N Fit. Barry is a friendly, curious guy that loves going for rides. Belfry just arrived from Brian Webb at the Orange Park Race Track in Jacksonville FL. He didn't actually race there. He started out racing at Palm Beach, then was moved to Naples Ft Myers then to Dubuque. Belfry is fast and has a lot of early speed. He got up to A level but would intentionally bump other dogs during the race and interfere with them occasionally which is not allowed. So in spite of being fast, he was retired. Belfry's sire is the famous Stan's Boy Flyer and his dam is JD Debutante. He is a handsome guy racing at a thin, very tall 80lbs. He turned 2 on January 8th. He is very calm and laid back for a 2 year old. Very sweet guy that is great on leash. He passed his cat test with just some curious, careful sniffing. He showed only a casual interest in a small dog he met and just sniffed appropriately. He is a very nice boy.

Tecate won't turn 2 until August 9th so is very young. She is a happy outgoing active girl. Very friendly. She passed her cat and small dog tests after some curious sniffing at first. She is doing well in foster care and we found out that she is a bit of a hoarder. She takes clothes and shoes to her bed to sleep with.

King just arrived from the Birmingham Alabama Race Course closing. We were waiting on him to arrive before the track closed because he is the suspected sire of a recent litter of puppies that we raised. King does look a lot like some of the litter. We were very excited to meet him. He raced a total of 46 races and also raced briefly at Orange Park and Daytona Beach in Florida but only was able to win one race. When he didn't win races at those tracks he was moved to Birmingham in January and met a cute girl on the haul and a few months later, on March 4th he became the dad of 6 pups. He did win some races before the track closed and had gotten up to B level. His sire is Defrim Bale and his dam is PJ Just A Dream. King was a kennel favorite of his trainer. She said he was absolutely the best boy. He was a grinner that would smile and follow her around. He was very devoted to her but she said he did take a few days to warm up and could be just a little timid at first. He has been friendly and happy since we got him though, so much so that his foster home decided to keep him after he had only been at their house for a couple of hours. King is raced at 76lbs and will turn 3 on July 25th. More as we get to know him.

Beef Taco just arrived from the Birmingham Race Course where he raced all his 94 races. He was a good racer racing most of his races at the top A level. He retired from the top A level July 2nd after pulling a muscle. He has completely recovered now and has no sign of any pain or injury now. Beef Taco's entire litter was named for types of tacos: Fish, Soft, Hard etc. They were born June 12th of 2015 so just turned 3. Beef Taco's sire is BD's Grayson and his dam is Flying Animals. He raced at 67lbs so is a smaller male. Beef Taco is a very friendly guy whose tail wags a lot. Very happy, outgoing and sweet. Taco has had mixed results with cats passing a couple of cat tests but was not able to resist a running cat in an adoptive home even with a couple of weeks of work. So Taco needs a home with no cats. Taco is usually quiet in his kennel and has lived in a townhouse. He has done great as an only dog too. He is good on leash and potties well on leash so doesn't require a fenced yard. Taco has been in a foster home with a 15lb Italian greyhound and has done well with him after a short adjustment time so he may do fine with dogs that size and up.   Update!  Taco is available once again for adoption through no fault of his own.  His owners have made the difficult decision to return him to GC in search of his next family match.  We'll update his information as soon as we can.

Direx just arrived from the Birmingham Race Course Adoption Group. He never actually raced in Birmingham and was just sent to them to place from the Southland Race Track in Arkansas. He also raced at Valley Race Track, Mardi Gras, and Dubuque. He raced 128 races and was a very good racer getting up to A level and even racing in Stakes races. Southland is probably the most competitive track in the country so you have to be good to race there and one of the faster dogs in the country to win there. Direx is truly a star. He raced 128 races. He raced at 74lbs so is a mid sized male. He just turned 5 on May 3rd. His sire is the very famous Kiowa Sweet Trey and his dam is Slatex Selene. Direx is very sweet and very outgoing. He wags lot. He passed his cat test with some initial curiosity but as soon as the cat swatted him he backed right up and wanted nothing more to do with it. He learned stairs quickly and seems to be settling in well. Already relaxed and laying on his back with his feet up in the air which is what we call a roach and something that only comfortable relaxed dogs do.

Good w/ Children:

Fostered by (location):

Adoption Status: Adopted by the Plymale family of Augusta GA, 6.13.20

Dart just arrived from the Roban farm in Florida where she was being trained to race. She is really young and won't even turn 2 until November 27th. She was never officially registered and never got a registered name. She was tattooed at 3 months of age though Right ear is 118F and left ear is 73158. She went to race training but flunked that because she is exceptionally shy, what we call a spook. Spooks are usually genetically shy, anxious dogs that are afraid of everything new, much like a person with severe social anxiety. Dart has three littermates that are not as shy, that are registered to race Mergen For Prez, RTSS Cherub Rock and RTSS Zamboni Man. We just placed a half sister by the same mom named She'sLikeNoOther and she is a very friendly social girl. Dart's sire is Superior Panama and her dam is PJ Hardnottolike. Dart is exceptionally fearful of everything new. She loves her crate and feels safe there and doesn't want to come out even for potty breaks. Eventually she will slowly come out, but then she will try to bolt away from the person holding the leash. She is being leash walked to potty by her foster mom inside her fenced backyard because she is too fearful to be caught. If her foster mom moves fast or steps on a twig Dart bolts and she tries to stay as far away from her as she can while on leash. Dart is a dog that will warm up with time to her people in her home but it isn't uncommon for a dog like this to take a year to get comfortable or longer. Dart must have a securely fenced yard because of the danger of her bolting when on leash and getting away. She is going to be a long term project though and isn't going to just become a happy, social dog in a week or two or even a month or two. Dart is never likely to enjoy going into unfamiliar environments outside her home and will always be a homebody. Dart will need a quiet home that doesn't have many visitors and one without small loud kids. Visitors and loud kids (and their toys and friends) would be terrifying to a dog like her. Dart likes other dogs and really would do best in a home with at least one other confident, friendly dog to follow around. A buddy usually helps spooky dogs be more comfortable. Dart may never be a social butterfly that will happily greet you at the door but the spooks can be very rewarding when you do finally gain their trust. Dart needs a forever home that will accept her as she is and not expect her to change. We want a family that is in it for the long haul, that will work with her no matter what and is committed to keeping a dog forever. Being returned and having to start over with a new family would be too difficult for Dart.

Adoption Status: Adopted by the Kovacs Family of Easley SC 6/13/20

Willow is one of a litter of pups that was born after we got a pregnant female from the Birmingham race track. Mom's name is She'sLikeNoOther (Beauty). We are not sure how she got knocked up but they think it happened when she was moved from a track in Florida to Birmingham in January and they think the dad was Apology Excepted because he was her traveling companion. We got her in February when she started showing. She had 6 healthy pups on March 4th. Willow was the 3rd pup born and weighed 12.5 ounces when she was born and 12 lbs 5 oz at 8 weeks old. All the pups are friendly and social and were raised using the Puppy Culture Protocol. They all know to sit for food and treats and are trained to use a litterbox. Most of them will also potty on leash. The pups have been around kids and toddlers since birth so are very used to children. They also lived with a small dogs and have been introduced to cats. All the pups were introduced to a variety of people of different ages and sizes and have been well socialized to people and things they may come in contact with in the home environment. Greyhound puppies are not like the calm adult greyhounds we love. They are very high energy when young and need large fenced yards to run and play in to build strong bones and muscles. They need complete supervision like a toddler because everything goes in their mouth and gets chewed or eaten. They can be very destructive if their energy isn't drained through play and acceptable forms of exercise. Greyhound puppies are like any other puppy when small, but they quickly grow to full size and may weigh 50 to 80lbs by 8 months old. At that age they can run around 40 mph but are still huge clumsy pups. Greyhound puppies bite and play very rough. They require a lot of training and need experienced homes with room to run.

Bully just arrived from the Orange Park Race Track in Jacksonville FL. He also raced at Sanford Orlando and Birmingham briefly. Bully got up to the top A level at Birmingham quickly. He was moved to Orange Park and also raced at A level there. He won his last race on March 15th, but was retired when the track shut down due to Covid 19. Bully has been at the track adoption kennel since then and they had him vetted there on 5/6/20. Bully will turn 3 on August 18th. He raced at 68lbs. Bully is a sweet friendly guy that is not a bully at all. He is cuddly, a leaner and a face kisser. He is comfortable in his crate and walks pretty well on leash. He has seen larger and smaller dogs on walks and is only mildly curious about both but his foster home feels he would do better in a home with no small dogs. He passed his cat test at the track and was OK with cats at first, but got more interested as he got more relaxed in his home, so his foster family feels he needs a home with no cats. Bully approaches new people he sees and is very friendly. He is a fast learner and is adapting quickly to home life. He is young but seems pretty laid back for his age and is content to lay around on dog beds. Bully had a racing injury in May of 2019. He didn't race again until September of 2019. He won several races in a row when he came back so was completely healed up. However he may have a little arthritis in his leg from that old injury because he occasionally favors it now. He raced at total of 36 races. Super nice, sweet guy that his foster feels would make a great first greyhound. He has had no accidents in the house and is adapting very well to pet life.

Camp is coming to us from Tabbatha Couch in Arkansas. She was a good racer that ran 51 races at Wheeling Downs. She went straight up to the top AA level there. She retired from racing after an injury in December of 2015. Camp went back to the farm to become a mom. She had a litter of 5 puppies in 2017 that are racers already. There is probably at least one more litter of pups that is not yet registered. Camp is a beautiful light fawn female with a thick fluffy coat. She is a good eater that is on the chubby side. She was free fed as much as she wanted at the farm so could stand to lose a few lbs. Her sire is the famous Flying Coal City and her dam is KB's Whisper Run. Camp will turn 7 on June 30th. Right before she left the farm Camp cut herself on some fencing and had to have stitches. She is completely healed up now but has a patch of hair that is growing back now. Camp is a calm sweet girl that seems happy and content with life. She loves to run around in the yard and roll around in the grass everyday so a fenced yard is a must for her. She is calm and friendly with kids of all sizes but she does have some sleep startle so needs a home with kids old enough to understand not to touch her when she is sleeping. She has been quiet since arriving and only barks sometimes when playing outside.

SPECIAL NEEDS! Hunter came to us from Mick Hymes Farm in Arkansas. We were told she was completely blind before we got her. When we got her, we were pleased to find out that she still had some sight according to an eye specialist. And the best news was that it is just pannus where blood vessels and tissue start to grow across the eye blocking vision. Daily drops in her eyes will stop that and will improve her vision and even reverse it and we can see improvement after just one day. We are thrilled that Hunter is going to have her sight back!!  She is likely to need to continue the drops in her eyes for the rest of her life. Hunter was a good racer and was retired to become a mom. She was a good mom and raised her last litter of puppies after she was pretty blind with no problems. She has a total of 16 puppies in 2 litters that are registered so far, but there is another more recent litter still being registered. Hunter raced at 64lbs. She just turned 6 on March 22nd. Her sire is AMF Ex President and her dam is Gable Redneck. Hunter settled right into foster care with no problem. She is very sweet and loving and her cute curly tail wags all the time. Hunter was vetted at Oasis Animal Hospital in Mauldin. Although Hunter can't see very well and doesn't have many teeth, when she sees the cats move in her foster home, she does try to chase them, so she really needs a home with no cats.

Mady just arrived from the Waverider Kennel at the Daytona Beach Race Track that just closed. She raced her entire career of 92 races there. She mainly raced at the lower levels but did get up to B level. Even though she didn't win many races she was a favorite of her trainer. Mady raced at 60lbs and turned 3 on December 4th. Her sire is the famous Odd Grayson and her dam is Husker Zhivany. Mady was curious about the cat and lost interest after thoroughly checking him out. Mady is a rare greyhound guard dog... her trainer would say Mady Mady Guard Dog and she would start barking. She would then come up for a gentle hug after she feels like she has protected you. Her trainer says she is a little girl but might actually protect you if she felt like she needed to. Mady loves dog beds and has already figured out the hardwood and tile floors and the stairs. Mady was vetted in at Clinton Animal Hospital.  Update!  As Mady has settled in, she's shown us that it's important she live with another greyhound companion in order to be happy.  She knows Greyhounds are the best and would rather stick with her own kind!   When she becomes stressed, Mady can be grumpy and defensive of her space.  She's going to need just the right home with experienced owners who understand and work with her accordingly in a situation without small children, or non-greyhounds.  Although she was fine with the very calm cat in her first foster home, she will need to be evaluated again with more active cats before we could call her tolerant.  Mady is currently undergoing evaluation and observation- if you feel lead to help this special girl who has so much promise ahead of her, let us know!

Gunslinger, now Tiger, is a red brindle male that came to us from the track initially before he was even two. He is being returned to us by the family that adopted him in March of 2014. His family renamed him Tiger. He ran 10 races at Birmingham Alabama Race Course before being retired. Tiger raced at 69lbs and is a tall handsome guy. His sire is the famous Lonesome Cry and his dam is CTW Cowgirl Up. Tiger was pretty calm and well behaved even when he was a young guy and is even calmer now. He is friendly and sweet and very outgoing with everyone he meets. He is very tolerant with other dogs and let a larger dog just lay right on him without complaint. He passed his cat test easily. He is being returned because he growled and air snapped at a visiting child that climbed on him while he was laying down. He chose not to actually be aggressive and bite. A growl or an air snap is the only way a dog can say it wants to be left alone. His family has moved close to relatives with small kids and plans to have their own as well in the future, so decided to re-home Tiger. Tiger will turn 8 on June 1st. These photos are from 2014. He still looks very much the same and is at a good weight and looks very healthy, just a little whiter in the face. He will have a fresh dental and health check and has already been brought up to date on his shots by his family. He is a very outgoing and sweet and appeared to be a very tolerant dog that didn't have space issues when placed initially. Any dog can become grumpy about their space when laying down or sleeping especially if kids get on them. That old saying "Let a sleeping dog lie" applies to most dogs. This is a sweet guy that loves people and comes already trained. He is very quiet in his crate so may be a great apartment dog.

Missy came in initially from the Birmingham Race Course. She only raced one of her 49 races there though. She traveled around to quite a few tracks. Missy started out at Dubuque in IA, then went to Wheeling Downs in WV, Gulf in TX and Orange Park in FL then finally Birmingham AL. She did get up to A level once at Orange Park but just wasn't a really good racer. She moved around a lot looking for a place where she would be competitive. Missy turned 4 on November 28th and raced at 65lbs. Her sire is the famous KC and All and her dam is WW's Whiteclover. She was called Minnie at the track but has since been renamed Missy by her first family. She is a pretty timid girl that will need time to warm up. Missy seems to be little more shy with men than kids and females. She was initially fostered with a calm 8 year old child. Most timid dogs are terrified around very loud fast moving small kids, so she probably needs a home with quiet older kids or no kids. Missy travels well. She is excellent on leash and goes potty on leash walks, so may do OK without a fenced yard. Missy went to her first home in October of 2018. That family was elderly and both fell and had to go to the hospital and were not able to care for a dog anymore so asked us to find her a new home. She was placed in 2019 and was just returned from that home because she was too shy. She passed her cat and small dog tests so should be fine to live with either. Missy did great in an earlier foster home with several small dogs. Missy doesn't interact at all on the first meeting, so any potential families need to understand that. She was very well behaved in her foster home. She is just a shy girl that is not a social butterfly and needs an owner that will be understanding of that and give her the time she needs to warm up and not expect her to change dramatically.

Sheboy, the girl with the funny name, was named after another famous dog owned by the same kennel that was the same color. The original Sheboy raced in 1985 and was an amazing racer. Sheboy is a pretty big tall girl that was actually mistaken for a boy by our volunteers when she first arrived. Sheboy just arrived from the Birmingham Race Course adoption kennel. She didn't actually race there but was sent there from the Southland Tracj in Arkansas to be placed as a pet with another adoption group. Sheboy was a good racer to be competitive enough for Southland, the most competitive track in the country. She also raced at Orange Park in Florida and raced at the top A level and even competed in Stakes races reserved for the best racers at that track. She raced 83 races and weighed in at 67lbs. Her sire is the famous Djays Octane and her dam is Shanett. Sheboy is just a little timid at first. She is an amazing girl though. She came right in and walked over shiny floors like she had done them her whole life. She just got into her crate and laid down on the trip up and never made a peep. She got in a car and road on the backseat the same way like she had done it all her life. She is very good with kids and is used to being around the kids of her trainer at the track and farm. She paid absolutely no attention to the cat or small dog moving around her and seemed like she was already used to being around both too. She turns 4 on August 11th. More as we get to know her.

Adoption Status: Adopted by the Rideout family of Aiken SC, 5/19/20

Booboo just arrived from Blanchard Kennel at Orange Park in Jacksonville. She is a tiny girl that weighed just 55lbs. She never raced due to an uneven gait caused by short muscles in her hind end. She was checked out by our vet and it looks like that was just the way she was born and not anything that needs to be fixed. She can run and play normally and just moves differently. She is a little overwhelmed and unsure about her recent move from racing kennel to home. She is most comfortable in her crate but is slowly getting brave enough to lay down out of it with other dogs. She is pretty shy at first, but her foster home is seeing more tail wags and happy behavior each day as she gets more comfortable. Booboo passed her cat test without any interest at all and laid down when she met the small dog so she should be fine to live with either.  Booboo is a littermate to Scotty that arrived at the same time. Her sire is Atascocita Bowl and her dam is Miss Kay. She just turned 2 on April 8th. She was vetted at Clinton Animal Hospital. More as we get to know her.

Hokey Pokey just arrived from the Roban Farm in Florida. She raced a total of 28 races at Ebro and at Derby Lane, but got bumped in the backstretch on Feb 1st. Hokey Pokey had sore muscles and went back to the farm to heal up and rehab. After she healed up, she went back to racing on the training track on the farm. She continued to have some soreness after races so they decided to retire her. She seems fine to run and play normally as a pet, but just wouldn't be a good candidate for lure coursing, agility or other performance events. Hokey Pokey raced at 62lbs. She turned 2 on February 16th. Her sire is AJN Chris Bosh and her dam is Flying Champagne. She was a little overwhelmed the first day she arrived but by the second day she was zooming around the yard and going up to everyone for attention. Her trainer says that she would do great in just about any home. She is a friendly, sweet, happy girl. She passed her cat and small dog tests with just some curious sniffing so should be able to live with either. She was vetted at Clinton Animal Hospital.

Broquet (Woodruff, SC)
Adoption Status: Adopted by the Broquet family of Woodruff SC, 5.17.20

Emma just arrived from the Daytona Beach Race Tracks sudden closing. She raced an incredible 233 races and was an incredible racer. She is the current track record holder for the 660 length with a time of 36.72 back in 2017. No dog has been able to beat that time since then and no one ever will, now that the track is closed. So she is famous and we are thrilled to be able to place her! She started out her career at Palm Beach but raced nearly all of her races at Daytona. Emma is little, racing at just 58lbs. She will turn 6 on October 14th. Her sire is Aerial Battle and her dam is KL Elaborate Eva. We placed her littermate LB's Ghost Chili and also LB's Red Chariot and LB's Busy Work both from the same mom. Emma was a little overwhelmed and timid when she first arrived but it only took her a couple of days to relax and get comfortable. Now her foster home describes her as one of the most loving and sweet dogs that they have fostered. She will make an awesome pet for a lucky family. Food Court probably needs to have a home without cats. She is being fostered with tiny dogs and has gotten used to seeing them running around in the house, but she still gets overly excited about seeing small dogs running around outside and tiny dogs she doesn't know. Food Court is a confident girl that is used to being treated like a superstar. Like any Diva she can be bossy over her space, and doesn't like sharing food or beds with other dogs, so may do better as an only dog where she can be the center of attention. She loves attention and absolutely loves everyone she meets. Even though she likes kids and has shown no grumpiness about space or food toward people, because she is that way with other dogs we would prefer to place her in a home with no small kids.

Pin just arrived from the Daytona Beach Race Track that is closing at the end of March. She raced only 18 races there and never won one of them. She is a tiny girl that weighs just 55lbs. She is mostly black with a white blaze on her face and white feet and chest. Pin turned 2 on November 13th. Her sire is Pat C Clement and her dam is PJ Wicked. Pin is a friendly girl that seemed to handle all the new things in retirement very well. Pin was vetted in Salisbury and is ready to be adopted. Pin is an active girl that hasn't outgrown the chewing phase yet so will need supervision and training on what is OK to chew and what is not. She walks great on leash. Pin can be loud in her crate so wouldn't be a good apartment dog. She does have a pretty high prey drive so needs a home with no cats. She is being fostered with some small dogs and is mostly fine with them, she just has no idea where her feet are, and tends to trample the little dogs when she gets excited. She does great with slightly larger dogs that aren't as fragile though. She is a very sweet girl with a friendly happy personality. She likes being around other dogs and probably would prefer a home with other large dogs.

She is a young girl that won't turn 2 until August 9th. Her sire is the famous Trent Lee and her dam is Easi Bandit. Sol is very sweet, and playful and still acts like a puppy. Her response to meeting a fluffy white dog was to crouch down and crawl along the ground in a submissive puppy posture. Sol also passed her cat test with just some curious sniffing before she lost interest. Sol was a little unsure of everything new in her foster home at first and would pace around the house before finally laying down. Sol was jumpy about loud household noises at first. She seemed to prefer to be around other greyhounds so may do best with another greyhound for company. She loves toys and loves going for a run in the yard after going potty. She was vetted at Clinton Animal Hospital.

Adoption Status: Adopted by the Johnson Palmer family of Greenville SC, 5/6/20

Chunky Monkey is one of a litter of pups that was born after we got a pregnant female from the Birmingham race track named She'sLikeNoOther (Beauty). We are not sure how she got knocked up but they think it happened when she was moved from a track in Florida to Birmingham in January and they think the dad was Apology Excepted because he was her traveling companion. We got her in February when she started showing. She had 6 healthy pups on March 4th. Chunky weighed 1lb 2oz when he was born and 18.7lbs at 9 weeks old when he was adopted.

Risky did pretty well when crated alone with just a little whining but settle fast and was roaching (upside down with legs in air) the first day. More as we get to know her.

He will turn 4 on July 28th. He is a tiny guy that raced at just 64lbs. Groggy was vetted in Augusta GA. He is used to being around the 5 kids of his trainer that were in his racing kennel daily. LN Chili Dog (Chilli) - New arrival from the Daytona Beach Track Closing out of Waverider Kennel. Chilli is a very shy, tiny, 2-year-old red girl who raced at just 52 lbs. She passed her cat test with only a brief initial sniff. Chilli only raced 20 races before the track closed and only manage to win 3 of them. She is a dog who will need time and patience to learn to trust a new person and may never be comfortable with a lot of new people or changes in her life. Spooky dogs often have a genetic basis to their temperament and are usually born that way. Like human's, they vary in personality, even in the same litter. Her littermate LN Bible Belt who arrived with her is friendly and not shy at all. He was raised in the same environment and raced in the same kennel. This litter was named for John Mellencamp's song Jack and Diane. Her sire is Boc's Tony Romo and her dam is DK's Leapinlizzy. Chili has been vetted at Clinton Animal Hospital. More as we get to know her.

Maddie came to us because of the recent kennel and track closings in Florida. Her kennel shut down due to the Corona Virus. Her racing owner got her and several other dogs back to her house and got them vetted for us so we could place her. She raced 27 races at Orange Park in Jacksonville FL. Maddie only won 3 races in her career. She is a small brindle female that raced at 58lbs. Maddie will turn 3 on September 19th. Her sire is Eyes Loaded and her dam is CTW Flirtatious. We places some other pups by that sire and dam and they are great pets. Maddie is very affectionate and sweet but is just a little overwhelmed and timid about new things for the first few days. She seems to gain confidence from being around other dogs so probably would do best in a home with another large dog or greyhound. She likes being beside people. Maddie is quiet and walks well on leash without pulling. She loves laying outside in the the sunshine. Maddy has shown some interest in cats from a distance but backs away and acts afraid of them if they get close, so we think she is trainable with cats. She is in a foster home with cats so she can get used to being around them. More as we get to know her.

Addy just arrived from the recent track and kennel closings in Florida. Her kennel closed due to the Corona Virus. Her racing owner got her and took her home to get her vetted for us. Addy raced her entire career of 55 races at Orange Park in Jacksonville Florida. She had just won 3 races in a row and got up to the top A level when her kennel closed. So her career was cut short just as she was getting really good. Addy is a small fawn female that raced at 60lbs. She will turn 3 on September 17th. Her sire is the famous BD's Grayson and her dam is Flying Lipstick. Addy is a very affectionate and sweet girl. Addy gets a little vocal when excited (feeding time) but is otherwise a quiet girl. She walks well on leash without pulling. She loves squeaky toys. Addy is the more outgoing and fearless of the two girls. At first we thought she would be cat trainable with the cats because she backed away from them but she got more excitable about them as time went on. So now we think she needs a home with no cats.

Frivolous is arriving soon from the Bolton Kennel at the closed Sanford Orlando Track. The track closed down permanently due to the Corona Virus. She also raced at Naples Ft Myers and Dubuque briefly. She raced 37 races and was pretty good getting up to the top A level. She was at B level when her career was cut short by the closing. Frivolous is a 66lb red female that will turn 3 on August 14th. Her sire is Dyna Double One and her dam is PJ Never Ask Why. We also placed her littermate Smote recently. Frivolous is very much like her brother, she is high energy and a lot of fun. She is not afraid of anything. Taught herself the stairs right away. She crates well but can be a bit wild when she first comes out. She needs a lot of training and work on walking nicely on leash. She does potty on leash though and is very food motivated. She will need a home with dog experience that will be willing to work with her and do some obedience with her. Her foster home described her as a little 'simple' but adorable. She loves everyone and tries to stand up to give hugs and will put her paws on your shoulders. Her foster family decided to keep her pretty much as soon as they met her.

He is a very smart boy and seemed to know when his trainer was down and would give gentle hugs and rest his head on her. Brushy has been excellent with the toddlers in his foster home. He is fine with the small dogs he was around but definitely needs a home with no kitties. Just too interested in chasing cats to be able to live with them. He is a very friendly happy guy.

Since she was so good at racing, Bingo was retired to be a mom, after her last race in September of 2018. No puppies are listed yet, so we aren't sure if she had any. At this point they would be too young to register so there may be a litter or two registered eventually. Her sire is the famous Djays Octane and her dam is Iruska Too Cool.
