Additional Details:

Rarefeat is an extra large, tall, brindle male that raced at 83lbs. He is such a handsome well behaved guy! His birthday is May 5th and he will turn 4 then. He is an easy going guy that is very friendly and calm. Just walking up to people and wagging his tail politely and leaning in for love. We think he has potential as a great therapy dog. He is the grandson of a brood mom we adopted out named Greys Fiddle De and is very sweet like his mom. His father is the famous Stan's Boy Flyer. He goes potty on leash so would do fine in a home without a fenced yard like an apartment or townhouse. He is also very quiet which makes him a good candidate for apartment living. This is a sweet, easy guy because of his friendly, laid back personality. He is going to be a great dog for some lucky family. His foster family says he is very well behaved. He is cat friendly and does well with dogs of all sizes and is fostered with some tiny dogs. He is very gentle with children and seem to like them. If you like big dogs this is your guy! He is a gentle giant.

Rarefeat was adopted 2/19/12 and his name was changed to Rafe. Rafe blessed his family with his wonderful personality and love from 2012 until late December, 2017. Rafe loved swimming in the ocean, slept on many beds in many sunbeams, and just generally blessed everyone with his presence and affection. Rafe developed Osteosarcoma (bone cancer) in one of his legs which ultimately led to him crossing the rainbow bridge. He will never be forgotten and will be sorely missed. Rafe "Rare Feat" was truly one of a kind.
