Mogul is a red female that just arrived from the Celtic Hounds Kennel at the Sanford Orlando Race Track. She is young and won't turn two until July 31st. Mogul was not fast enough to race but she definitely has the drive to race and chase, so we know she gave it her best shot. She really wanted to get to the cat and chase it during her cat test. The cat slapping her had no effect on her whatsoever, so she definitely can not live with kitties. With her high prey drive we figured she would not be good with small dogs either, but she showed no interest in chasing the Italian Greyhound she met. She seems like she will be fine with some small dogs with an introduction so she knows what they are. Her sire is the famous Dodgem By Design and her dam is KB's Brite Lite. Mogul is an adorable red girl with a dark curly tail that almost hangs in corkscrew at times and curls up over her back sometimes too. She has the cutest floppy ears. Mogul has a great personality and is very waggy and very happy and loves people. Mogul can be loud in her kennel so may not be a good choice for apartment or townhouse living. She was pretty excitable around the small kids she met and wanted to get their toys and blankets, so we think she would do best in a home without small kids. Although she is very young and has a high prey drive, she does seem to calm down nicely. Her foster home, describes Mogul as "personality plus". Even though she is quite friendly she does have a very submissive side and will come up to you with her body and head low and tail wagging. She seems to be the same with other dogs and isn't pushy with anyone. Care should be taken with introductions to dogs that are fuzzy because she tends to mistake anything fuzzy for a lure. Even our laundry. She loves toys but gets overly excited about them and tends to take them apart. This is a cute girl that is young and is still learning what everything is.
