Additional Details:

Sweet Girl just arrived from a Florida farm. She never made it to the race track and flunked out of training because she would play with the other dogs instead of chasing the lure. That is called interfering and dogs that do that aren't allowed to race. Sweet girl is a very young girl that won't turn 2 until August 26th. Her sire is the famous DJays Octane and her dam is KB's Go Mama. She is pretty tall for a girl and weighs about 65lbs. Sweet Girl is friendly and loving with people and kids she has met. She has been just a little overwhelmed with all the new sights and sounds in her retired life though and can be a bit jumpy. Sweet girl walks well on leash and travels very well. She kennels well too and sleeps through the night quietly. Her foster mom has reported that she is not good with other dogs when being fed and she guards her food. She hasn't shown any food aggression with people at all, but we would rather place her in a home without small kids, that would be carrying food and dropping food, just be extra cautious. So far sweet girl has only really gone after another female dog that got too close to her food and left a male alone that was even closer. She may need to be placed as an only dog unless her family was very diligent about feeding and giving treats separately. Sweet girl is the cutest thing and passed her cat test easily without any interest.
