Bristol originally raced at Sanford Orlando and Jefferson County Kennel Club. She was a tiny girl racing at just 56lbs. She only raced 24 races before she was retired in Dec of 2009. Bristol was originally adopted through another group in 2010. She just turned 7 on June 7th. Bristol was just relinquished to our group in very poor condition after being sick for 6 months without treatment. Bristol had Ehrlichia, badly abscessed teeth and had lost 16 lbs. If we had gotten her earlier we could have helped her but it was too late. Sadly her starved, sick body and kidneys had already shut down by the time we got her. Our vet was amazed she had held on as long as she had in her condition. Rest in Peace Sweet Girl!
