Chumley is another of the litter that retired out of race training and didn't make it to the race track. Chumley just celebrated his 2nd birthday on May 26th and is a little guy that weighed only 67lbs. His sire is Dave the Dog, And his dam is Topaz Lass. His foster parents actually own one of his mom's littermates! Chumley has been pretty friendly and outgoing since he arrived. He wants to get up in the front to be with people during transport to the vet and doesn't shy away from people at all like some of his brothers. He is definitely one of the more confident ones in the litter and went right up to children for petting on a recent walk in the neighborhood. He mastered a flight of steps right away and he seems to be able to deal with new things. Chumley is living in a foster home with small dogs and cats and has been absolutely fine with them. He even did well with a hyper puppy that was nipping at him. He is a very sweet loving guy. Althought the rest of his litter were heartworm positive and are on hold for treatment Chumley was heartworm negative and is ready for a new home.
