Mo is an XL sweet boy that never raced and never received an official racing name. He weighed 82lbs at his vet visit. Mo schooled once but just walked out of the box and stood there looking around. He really wasn't interested in running or chasing so he was just retired. He came straight to us from the Kansas farm where he was raised. Because of never having a racing career Mo has not been exposed to much about home and city life and still has a lot to learn. He is particularly confused with the variety of flooring, carpets, wood, brick tile, and stairs. He isn't fond of any of it yet, but is learning. Dirt and grass are his preferred things to walk on since that is what he is used to. He will just freeze on other surfaces. Mo is a sweet guy that is very loving and friendly toward people, but he does seem to be a sensitive guy that gets worried about new things. He gains confidence slowly. On the trip over from Kansas in one of our volunteer's vans he would snuggle up to her when she would lay down to rest in the van. Mo is just a little jumpy if you move suddenly, but he does want to be with you and stay close. He is great on walks and walks politely on leash outdoors. Inside he can freeze on leash when he encounters new types of flooring that scare him. He is doing pretty good on the tile and wood floors in his foster home after about a week, but the carpets and brick in the home are a little harder for him to accept. He is great with the small dog that is in his foster home and he just sniffed the cat he met. Mo is normally pretty quiet in his kennel but sometimes does the famous greyhound roo that sounds much like a sad wolf howl. He is quite the singer with a deep, sweet, sad voice. He is very sweet and still has his furry, farm puppy coat that is starting to shed out now. He just turned 2 in April so is pretty young. His sire is Kiowa Myth and his dam is Fly Miley Cyrus.
