Trista came in from the Sanford Orlando track. She didn't ever race though. She just wasn't interested in chasing the lure and you can't make a greyhound run is it doesn't want to. She is very young and won't turn 2 until December 13th. Her sire is Bonafide Top Dog and her mom is Retail Therapy. We got her mom in the same load from Florida so she is available too. Greyhound puppies are allowed to stay with their mothers often as long as the mom is willing to stay with the pups. Trista's mom was with her up until 6 months ago so Trista was very happy to see her again when we got them together. Trista is very cat friendly and isn't any more interested in chasing a cat than she was in chasing a lure. She is much more interested in getting up in your lap for snuggles. We were told that Trista may be shy at first, but she couldn't be more friendly. She is a happy, sweet girl that so far has loved everyone she has met and hasn't shied away from anyone. Since she never raced, she doesn't have an official racing weight. She is very petite and narrow but very tall for a girl. She doesn't weight much but has very long legs so we guess her to be around 60lbs. She is very pretty.
