Additional Details:

Gambino is an extra large, black guy that is very friendly. He is tied with one other dog to be the biggest dog we have ever adopted out with a racing weight of 98lbs. He is pretty calm for a young guy and well behaved. He does need some training on leash because he pulls some and is pretty strong. He is a gentle giant though and seems to be very sweet and gets along well with others. He retired from Derby Lane without an offical race. He did some training races there but they decided he was too big to be a successful racer. He seems pretty smart and is picking up on house manners quickly. He crates nicely and quietly. He likes people and seemed to like the children he has met too. He did good with small dogs that walked past him at the recent meet and greet. He still needs tested with cats.

Gambino developed seizures shortly after his adoption in 2013. They were able to be managed with medication until 2019 when they were no longer able to be controlled and he passed away. This big guy was loved by so many and will be missed.
