Additional Details:

Shortie and her litter were all named for types of cows like their mother before them was. There is a Brahma, Hereford, Angus, Longhorn and Guernsey among others. It was a big litter of 11 pups. Shortie raced 70 races at the Birmingham race track. She was racing at the top A level when she retired. Her sire is the very famous Kiowa Sweet Trey and her dam is Gable Brahma. Shortie has very interesting coloring that we have only seen one time before. She is listed as a red brindle but only has stripes on one side of her. She is all red on the other side. Shortie was not interested in the cat at all when she met it and was more afraid of it than anything. She also did fine with small dogs she met. She is a very friendly, outgoing girl that raced at 61lbs and turned 2 on November 25th. She was a little scared of the shiny wood floors at first and slipped around a lot. She travels really well and laid down and went to sleep in the van right away. Shortie arrived in the middle of the night and went straight into a crate, ate her dinner and went to sleep and never made a peep the rest of the night. So she seems very adaptable and may be a good choice for an apartment or townhome. Shortie seems like a calm laid back girl.
