Lip just arrived from Bolton Kennel at the Sanford Orlando Race track. He is a gorgeous, rare, all white, male with only some tiny speckles on his ears and no actual spots. He raced 148 races. Lip was a pretty good racer and got up to the top A level briefly a couple of times during his career. He was mainly competitive at the lower levels. Lipp raced at 73lbs. His sire is Hi Noon Hero and his dam is Atascocita Dory. LIpp passed his cat test without much more than an ear prick in the cat's direction so should be OK to live with cats. He is also good with small dogs. He loves having other dogs around and they seem to help his confidence, so we would love to find a home for him with another dog. Lip can be a little timid at first in new situations. He seems like he is a sweet, sensitive guy that startles easily. A small child threw a toy for another dog and it scared him. Lipp wouldn't come out of his crate if any of the small kids were around for a couple of days after that. His foster dad came home late and night and surprised him. Lipp didn't want him to come near him for a couple days after that. Lipp loves his foster mom and likes to stay close to her. He did gradually warm back up to the small kids and would cautiously approach them for petting but we think he would be more comfortable living in a quiet home without small rowdy kids. Lip is being fostered now with teenagers and he absolutely loves them. So a home with older kids would be fine for him. Lipp seems like he would be a good watch dog because he will bark an alarm if something startles him. For that reason he wouldn't be the best dog for an apartment or townhouse. Lip is a sweet, sensitive guy that is very affectionate and loving especially with females and older teenage kids. He can be a little more cautious with men but will warm up with a little time.
