Cat Tolerance:

Small Dog Tolerance:

Good w/ Children:

Fostered by (location):
Johnson, Greenville SC
Adoption Status: Adopted by the Alexander family in Augusta GA 11/23/16

Armor originally came in from a kennel closing at the Daytona Beach race track. He also raced at Sanford Orlando and Derby Lane race and has 66 races listed. It doesn't look like he won one race but he did place some. His sire is Bob's Skeet and his dam is Prairies Eagle. Armor turned 4 on June 24th. He is very calm, friendly and well behaved. Armor is a tall, leggy guy that raced at 76lbs. Armor is very good on leash and enjoys going for walks. He has already been living in a apartment and is very quiet in his kennel so would be perfect for someone needing a quiet apartment dog. He was also living as an only dog for a year so should also be an excellent choice for someone that wants an only greyhound. His trainer had 3 older children that work at the kennel with her and he was very good with them. His recent owner said Armor usually chooses to avoid real small loud kids though. Armor can be a bit grumpy about his space when laying down, so we have him listed as no kids even though he enjoyed being around the older kids that worked with him at the kennel. Armor passed his cat and small dog tests easily with no interest in chasing either. He is doing fine with the small dog in his foster home too. Armor is a grinner! It is a cute thing that just a few greyhounds do when they are happy or excited. He also has one other quirky thing about him - he can wag his tail straight up and down as well as side to side! Armor has been in an adoptive home for a little over a year so is already home acclimated, well behaved and has good house manners. The only reason he is available again is because his dad took a job that forces him to travel every week. Armor has been boarded a lot recently and his dad feels it isn't fair to him. If you want a tall handsome boy Armor could by your guy. Armor has settled in well to his foster home. He is a very nice boy that seems like he would be an easy addition for some lucky family. Such a laid back guy, but he does love to get silly and do zoomies occasionally in the backyard. Very friendly and loving.

Astro retired from Palm Beach race track where he only raced one maiden race. He was so far behind the other dogs in that race that he wasn't even in the picture. Astro may not have been a great racer like his famous dad, Dodgem By Design, but he is going to be a great pet. He has a friendly, outgoing personality. His mom's name was Jinnie and Tonic. Astro is young and just turned 2 on April 1st. He was in an adoptive home with children for a month or two but we decided he would do better in a home with no kids after he showed that he could be possessive over toys and his space with the youngest of the two kids. Astro has been very well behaved in his foster homes and they haven't reported seeing that behavior. He has been fostered for awhile so already has good house manners and is home acclimated.

Cat Tolerance:

Fostered by (location):
Erskine, Simpsonville SC
Adoption Status: Adopted by the Bailey Family of Charlotte NC 11/19/16

Babs was good racer that got up to the top AA Level at Tri State in WV and then went to Wheeling in WV. She retired in September of 2011 from racing to a second career as a mother. She was moved to Kansas and had a total of 20 pups in 3 litters in 2012, 2014 and 2015. Babs raced at 68lbs. Her sire is the famous Kiowa Sweet Trey and her dam is Kiowa Brownsugar. Babs turned 8 on March 26th. She moved to the Birmingham Track Adoption Kennel in hopes of finding a good home in March of this year and is still looking. She has become a favorite of the staff there and even traveled with them when they delivered dogs to other adoption groups. We met Babs on her way back from a trip up to Maine and decided to bring her in to one of our foster homes. Because of her travels Babs has been in homes, hotels, has camped and traveled in a big box truck. Nothing seems to bother her and she loves traveling and meeting people.  She kennels well and enjoys life. Babs did not pass her cat test so needs a home with no cats. She gets along well with medium to large dogs but has had mixed results with very small dogs that move fast. She was very good with one she met, but she wanted to chase some others. Although she was a good mom, and fine with her small puppies, we think she would do better in a home without small dogs that look like squirrels or bunnies. Although she did have some potty accidents when she first arrived, Babs has quickly gotten over that and no longer has any accidents in her foster home. Because she is 8 years old, Babs qualifies for our reduced $200 adoption fee. Babs is a bouncy, happy girl with an excellent, confident personality and a lot of it. She happily bounces to meet any guests that come over and her foster home is working on getting her to tone her greetings down a bit. She may be an older girl, but no one told her that. Babs would be perfect for a family that travels a lot and wants a dog that can go with them. She is a waggy, happy girl!

Showy is a beautiful, black, female greyhound that doesn't look 8 years old at all. She hardly has any gray on her face and is a real beauty. She raced 94 races at Mobile, Bluffs Run and Palm Beach. She got up to the top A level. She raced at 66lbs and just turned 8 on April 10th. Her sire is the famous Trent Lee and her dam is WW's Kool Show. Showy was sent back to the farm after her racing career was over to be a mom. She had a litter of 11 puppies in January of 2013 that are racing now. She also just weaned a litter of puppies. She came to us from the farm in Abilene Kansas and is ready for her own couch, after retiring from her second career. She is friendly and happy meeting people and is curious about her surroundings and not a bit timid. She can be a bit bossy and is quick to correct wild puppy behavior as you would expect from a momma dog. She seems like a confident, happy girl. She has been living with cats and she showed no prey drive toward a small white dog in her foster home. Because Showy is an older girl she qualifies for our reduced adoption fee of $200.

Adoption Status: Adopted by the Underwood family of Martinez GA 11/5/16

Willow just arrived from the Daytona Beach Race Track on Oct 19th. She has only 29 races listed in 2015 at Sanford Orlando, Dubuque and Orange Park and never actually raced at Daytona Beach. She has not raced in a year due to a broken toe and was off for it to heal up for months. When it didn't heal up like it should have and was causing her pain, they had a vet amputate the toe. The amputation wasn't done properly, so it still caused her pain and had to have more work done on it. It finally was fixed up and she can walk on it without any problem, but they were afraid to race her again, so Willow hasn't raced in a year and has been at the track kennel for that entire time. She is a tiny, dark red, female that weighs just 53lbs. Willow has dark sable tips on some of her red fur which gives her a very unusual dark coloring. She is described as a bit higher energy, happy, waggy and very outgoing. She gets very excited to meet people and sometimes jumps up so we are working on that. She celebrated her 3rd birthday on August 28th. Willow did not pass her cat test so needs a home without cats. She still needs testing with small dogs. She was good with her trainers children ages 5-11. This is a super sweet girl with a great personality and a lot of it. Precious and so beautiful!

Her sire is the famous Kelsos Fusileer and her dam is WW's Deathvalley. Like all of the dogs from this kennel she is used to having the children of her trainer, ages 5 to 11, working with her and handling her. She passed her cat test at the kennel and should be fine to live with cats and small dogs. She is a very outgoing happy girl that wags a lot and even does the famous greyhound grin! She is a bouncy happy girl that is a bit higher energy. Hollow complained some the first night after she arrived, so may not be the best choice for apartment or townhouse living. He is used to being around his trainer's kids ages 5-11 that help out at the kennel. Ramsey was a little interested in the first cat he met, but quickly lost all interest after the cat slapped him. Vegas is an extra tall black male that raced at a thin 83lbs. For his weight, he has long legs, narrow body and tiny head. His back is hip high and he is as tall as some of our tallest 90+ lb boys. He is a super sweet boy that earned the nickname "Velcro" at the adoption kennel at the Birmingham Track. He would follow their staff around as they were working and lean on them every chance he got. He loves people. Vegas raced 116 races at a bunch of different tracks. Starting out at Mardi Gras, then Naples Ft Myers, Flagler then Palm Beach. He never actually raced in Birmingham but we got him from that track adoption group. Vegas is a very calm guy that is good on leash. He turned 4 years old on April 2nd. His sire is Flupa's Crackerbox and his grandsire Dave the Dog actually retired and lived in Piedmont SC, so we knew him too. His dam is Super By Design. Vegas needs to be tested with cats but he was fine with the the small dog in his foster home. Because of his extra large size, Vegas will need an extra tall 48 inch long crate. The standard 48" inch long crates are only 32 inches high and his back rubs on the top. He needs an extra tall 48" long crate that is 36" high or a 54 inch long great dane size crate that is even higher. Vegas travels really well. He was pretty loud in his kennel the first night but settled and has been quiet since so may be OK as an apartment dog. Vegas was diagnosed with Pannus which is an eye problem pretty common in greyhounds that can cause blindness if not treated with daily eye drops. The eye drops are not expensive and should control the disease if given daily. He should avoid long term sun exposure because that can make the eyes worse. He would look very cute in a pair of doggles (doggy sunglasses). His eyes look fine and it isn't something that the average person would even notice. It was caught very early and there is only a very tiny spot on the corner of one eye.

Marcy is a white female with black spots that is a very special girl. She has an esophogeal disorder that caused her to throw up when she ate, so she was very tiny and the runt of the litter. She barely survived. Eventually her owner figured out why she was so thin and smaller than her littermates. Marcy had to be fed separately out of a raised feeder and needed softened food that was easy to swallow to keep from choking on it. Her racing owner hoped she would eventually grow out of the problem as she got older, but she didn't. Marcy never raced because of her issue. Her racing owner didn't think that anyone would want to adopt a girl that had this disorder, so just planned to keep her on the farm as a pet for her whole life. We know there is a special family out there for Marcy, in spite of her disorder. We have placed other dogs with the same problem. Although Marcy is small for a female greyhound, she is healthy. As you can see from the photos she is able to maintain a good weight using the raised feeder and making sure her food is very soft. She does need to be walked on a harness instead of using a collar to avoid pressure on her esophagus but that is her main limitation. Marcy is a sweet, friendly girl that loves everyone she meets. She turned 7 on April 20th. Her sire is Ardkill Jamie and her dam is JT's Petey Girl. We placed her littermate Hanks Luckycharm and DDM's Dynamite years ago. Marcy is very well behaved in a house and very quiet in her crate so may be a good choice for an apartment. She passed her cat and small dog tests so should be fine to live with either. Be sure to look at Marcy's other photos to see pictures of her as a puppy. She is the tiny one in the group. Marcy has been fostered with kids and cats and is great with both. She is a snuggler that likes to be as close as possible. She loves to cuddle in bed with her foster family- kids and adults. Although she would like to be up on the couch with her family, she doesn't like her feet going between the cushions on the couch. So she figured out that sleeping on the ottoman was a better place for her. Marcy has been in an adoptive home but was unable to hold her pee all day while they worked. They think she would do better in a home where people weren't gone all day. We are getting her checked for a urinary tract infection, since she didn't have this problem in her previous foster homes.

He started out his racing career at the Caliente track in Mexico then raced at Bluffs Run and Dubuque in IA. From there, Voter went to Southland in Arkansas and finally ended up racing in Daytona Beach. He raced 113 races in all. His last race was in December of 2015 and he has been waiting on an adoption group to take him since then. His sire is EM's Mac Attack and his dam is Gale WW Von Kay. He is used to being around his trainers kids ages 5 to 11 at the track kennel. His trainer says this guy is really chilled. If the other dogs get excited about something and run and bark, he doesn't even join in. He is friendly and will seek out attention from his trainer and likes to just hang out. He has settled into foster care very easily and doesn't seemed stressed at all. He was laying on his back on a dog bed with his feet in the air by the second day in a home, He passed his cat test easily and didn't get excited about the cat either. So he should be fine to live with cats and small dogs. Voter is a quiet guy that is being fostered in a townhouse so should be fine for apartment or townhouse living. He has a gorgeous glossy black coat and is pretty good on leash. Voter would be an easy first or third greyhound.

Miley is a calm, quiet, dark brindle girl that was picked as an easy first time foster for a new foster home. She just arrived from the Daytona Beach Race Track on Wednesday Oct 19th. Miley is a tall girl racing at 68lbs. She turned 3 on April 17th. Her sire is Lord Dempsey and her dam is Fuzzys Rushmore. She is used to being around kids ages 4-11, because her trainer's children help out in the kennel after school. Miley only raced 7 races and has been waiting at the track for a group to take her since she retired at the beginning of April. Miley passed her initial cat test but got very excited about the cats she saw at the vets office. Her foster home has cats and they have tried to work with her with them but she has stayed focused and is not loosing interest in them so she will need a home with no cats. Miley seems like a sweet, sensitive girl that is just a little overwhelmed by all the changes in her life. She cried most of the night the first night in her foster home so may not be a good apartment dog.

Easy just arrived from the Daytona Beach race track. She is a very tiny 47lbs brindle female. Easy turned 4 on May 26th and had a long racing career. She raced 144 races at Daytona Beach Race Track and retired on September 17th. Her trainer takes her children to work with her and the kids help with turnouts and feeding so all the dogs are used to being around children. Easy's sire is Kiowa WW Brother and her dam is WW's Dogwood. We placed her brother WW's Doggy Bag already. Easy passed her cat test at the track kennel so should be fine living with cats and small dogs. She is a sweet brindle girl that has some white on her face. She is coming in specifically for one of our adopters so isn't available at this time.

Apple is a black female greyhound that originally came in from the Melbourne Race Track in Florida. She raced 89 races, mostly at Bluffs Run in IA. She was a good racer getting up to the top A level and even competing in a Stakes race. She broke her leg in her last race on January 21st. She had surgery at the track to fix it and made a complete recovery because of the wonderful rehab given to her by Pro Greyhound and over $1100 in donations from greyhound owners across the country for her surgery. She was adopted a few months ago but had a couple of disagreements with another female greyhound in the home so she is available again. We think she would do better in a home without other female dogs because she can be pretty bossy. She did not pass her cat test so needs a home with no cats. Apple raced at 62lbs and her sire is the very famous Kiowa Sweet Trey and her dam is Yahoo Olivia. Apple is a very outgoing sweet friendly girl. She is calm and gives kisses and enjoys laying upside down and in some very unusual positions. She is a very confident girl that would be likely to be the dominant dog in the pack. She showed no desire to chase the small dogs she has met and is good with ones she meets casually. Because she is big and can be bossy occasionally we don't think she should be placed in a home with small dogs. If you want an only dog that is very friendly and sweet Apple is your girl!

Cinnamon's sire is Gable Sour Cream and her dam is AMF Setting Sun. We also placed one of her littermates AMF Cream Soda. She just turned 4 on April 22nd. Cinnamon is being fostered with cats and small dogs and is fine with them. She is a very sweet and friendly girl who loves physical contact and snuggling. She's very sensitive and is a quick learner. Much more interested in human attention than playing with the other dogs. She does get a bit noisy when alone in her crate so wouldn't be a good choice for an apartment. She loves to sleep upside down with her feet in the air in a position we call a roach. She is very cute and sweet!

She started off at Derby Lane in St Pete FL, then went to Ebro, then to Palm Beach and Mardi Gras in Florida. She went to Wheeling WV, then back to Florida to Mardi Gras and on to Sanford Orlando, where we picked her up. She raced 84 races and won a lot of those including top level stakes races. She mainly competed at the longer distances and was the 2014 Ebro Derby Champion. Her sire is the famous Trent Lee and her dam is Kelsos Inga. Bonnie is a tall, leggy beauty that raced at 61lbs. She will turn 4 on October 16th. Bonnie passed her cat test. There was some interest when she first met the cat, but she quickly lost interest and checked out other things. She is fostered in a home with cats and is doing great with them. She loves kids and has children in her foster home that she is very good with. Bonnie has it all, good with cats, kids and other dogs of all sizes. She is gorgeous and has a great personality. She took no time at all to get comfortable in her home and settled right in. She loves to be around people and loves to go for car rides. She has been very quiet in her foster home so may be OK for apartment living.

Her sire is BD's Herby and her dam is WW's Wind Drift. Dae is friendly and was much more outgoing and seemed less stressed than her brother. Her foster home says she is a very sweet girl. She also raced briefly at Orange Park. Saber's sire is the famous Flying Coal City and her dam is FTK Foxboro. She is used to being around kids because her trainer has 4 kids that come to work with her in the kennel. Saber has been pretty overwhelmed by the move from her racing kennel. She is pretty timid so far and is afraid to go outside. Her foster family has been taking her out on leash to do her business and staying out with her in the yard. She does potty well on leash so she may do fine in a home without a fenced yard. Her trainer says she is a very friendly, silly, playful girl once she gets comfortable. Saber seems like the type that will warm up but change definitely can be overwhelming for her. So far she seems to prefer the comfort of being in her crate. She will come out to say Hello then will go back in to nap.

She does not like watching TV. People should not be in a box on the wall, it is more than a little scary. Her foster home says she does stairs great and is quiet in her crate. Cinder (formerly Dauber) came in initially from the Sanford Orlando track. He is an extra large guy that raced at 82lbs. He raced 6 races and won only one of those. He just turned 3 on August 14th so is a young guy. His sire is the very famous Kiowa Sweet Trey and his dam is Danu. Cinder is a white male with red spots with just a few brindle stripes in the spots. He is a very calm, friendly boy that will lean against you and put his head on your lap. He travels well and crates very quietly. When he did lay down, if one of the other dogs fussed at him he would stand back up and try to avoid trouble. Seems like a gentle giant and a very polite boy. He is great on leash and is not a marker inside or outside. Cinder passed his cat and small dog tests and did well with a toddler that was at his first foster home. He has been in an adoptive home for nearly a year and did great with them. Shortly after they went on a long trip out of the country and moved their dogs in with their parents, there was an altercation between their two greyhound boys. They felt that it would be better to rehome Cinder since he was the most recent addition. No one was home when it happened, so we don't know what happened. Cinder has a couple small tears in his ear and the other dog had to have stitches. Because we don't know what happened or why, even though Cinder has always been wonderful with other dogs, he may need to be an only dog. Cinder has no prey drive toward small dogs or cats and seems like a very gentle guy that has always avoided trouble. On his trip back to us from Oklahoma, a bossy girl kept barking and growling at him over her space. He just curled up in the corner as far away as he could get from her and looked scared. He didn't bark or growl back or even look at her.

Aria is a black oops puppy that came from an accidental breeding between two greyhounds. She is not tattooed and could never be registered to race since her parentage is unknown. She is good with cats and small dogs and is a very outgoing, happy go lucky, energetic, playful, puppy. She is pretty small but still may fill out a bit and put on more muscle. She is likely to be as tall already as she is going to get though by this age. Aria was placed in an adoptive home in Alabama shortly after she was weaned and they renamed her Karma. Recently her adoptive family decided to return her to the Birmingham Track Adoption Group that had originally placed her. By that time she was 10 months old and they decided she would do better with someone with more greyhound experience and they wanted to get a boxer puppy instead. All puppies take commitment and dedication to training. Eight months to a year is the most challenging time, with a large breed puppy. Behaviors that are cute in a tiny puppy may not be cute when the dog weighs over 50lbs. At that age you have a puppy brain and high energy in an large, adult-sized body with adult speed and strength. Lack of manners and training in the puppy phase will become a problem at that age. Karma was transported to us right away and came in as a special order for an adopter with greyhound experience who is also a dog trainer. Her new mom renamed her Saber and we expect this to be a great match for her.

She is a friendly girl that seems pretty calm. She was initially a little noisy in her crate but quieted right down after she got corrected for it. When we took him to our vet we found out there was a reason that he couldn't run. He has a very weak heart that is failing. Our vet guesses that Willy only has about a year to live. Our vet decided to adopt him and give him the best care and meds he can possibly have in what little time he has left. Willy is a sweet, brindle boy that is very loving. Backbone had plenty of nicknames at the track and was also called BB and Baby. She was a bit shy and overwhelmed when she first came in but warmed up fast and is very friendly now with most people. There have only been a few men she was a little shy around. She came in from the Daytona Race Track. She only raced 20 races there and only won one of those, but did place a few times. Her sire is WW Always N Ever and her dam is WW's Brute Force. Backbone raced at 62lbs and just turned 2 on July 6th. She was very worried about the tile floors in her foster home at first but she has completely gotten over that now so she just needs a little time to get used to anything she thinks is scary and she adjusts. She just needs a little time to get comfortable in a new place. BB did great with the kids and all the people she met at a very busy meet and greet at a pet store recently. She gains confidence every day and has become a very friendly dog that is very devoted and wants to be with people. She is doing great in her foster home and is usually quiet in her kennel. She seems like a girl that would be OK as an only dog because she pays more attention to her foster mom than the other dogs in her home. She does get along well with other dogs though. This is a cute sweet girl that will be very loving and devoted to her new family. She loves to play with toys.

Rebel is tiny, racing at just 57lbs. She will turn 3 on September 4th. Her sire is KC and All and her dam is Brett Lee Queen. She just raced 26 races, all of them in Wheeling WV. She was a very good racer there getting up to the top AA level quickly. After winning and doing well, she suddenly started coming in at the back of the pack. When she stopped doing well at that track, she was moved to Sanford Orlando to race. They decided that she wasn't going to race well anymore after a few schooling races there and retired her. Since she is sensitive and a little timid, she may have just given up rather than push through the pack to get to the front. She may not have liked getting bumped and she did take a tumble once. No one can make a greyhound run if they don't want to. This is a VERY fast little girl when she wants to be and won against some of the fastest dogs in the country, until she decided not to. Rebel passed her cat test with just a little interest at first. She quickly lost interest though and has been living in a foster home with a cat. She was fine with a small dog in her foster home too. She crated quietly. Her foster home describes her as a true couch potato. She even lays down when she eats.

She is very young and won't turn 2 until December 13th. Her sire is Bonafide Top Dog and her mom is Retail Therapy. We got her mom in the same load from Florida so she is available too. Greyhound puppies are allowed to stay with their mothers often as long as the mom is willing to stay with the pups. Trista's mom was with her up until 6 months ago so Trista was very happy to see her again when we got them together. Trista is very cat friendly and isn't any more interested in chasing a cat than she was in chasing a lure. She is much more interested in getting up in your lap for snuggles. We were told that Trista may be shy at first, but she couldn't be more friendly. She is a happy, sweet girl that so far has loved everyone she has met and hasn't shied away from anyone. Since she never raced, she doesn't have an official racing weight. She is very petite and narrow but very tall for a girl. She doesn't weight much but has very long legs so we guess her to be around 60lbs. She is very pretty.

Adoption Status: Adopted to Kruger, 7.31.16

Selena is a 4 year old black girl with a beautiful white face that came in from the Mardi Gras Race Track. She also raced at Flagler and Naples Ft Meyers. She mainly raced at the lower levels but did get up to B level briefly. She raced 102 races so had a pretty long career. Selena is very flashy with her white feet and chest and face! She raced at 65lbs and just turned 4 on May 8th. Her sire is the very famous Kiowa Mon Manny and her dam is J's Baby Blue. Selena is a pretty calm girl that is very friendly and loving. Selena was very interested in the cat at first but calmed down after the cat slapped her and decided that cats were not something to mess with. Since she was interested at first we have her listed as cat trainable. We think she would be OK with careful supervision with a cat that will stand up for itself. She showed no interest in chasing the small dog she met, so should be fine to live with them. Selena is a very well behaved girl that is a very good foster. She loves other dogs and is great with will share a dog bed with them. She is very good on leash and doesn't pull. If something makes her nervous she just stops. Selena was in an adoptive home briefly, but was returned because she complained in her kennel when they left her alone and it was disturbing the neighbors in their apartment. So Selena isn't going to work for apartment living. She is a natural sitter which is rare for a greyhound. The sit is not a comfortable position for most greyhounds. Selena is calm but loves to play with toys for just a short time. She was not worried by the fireworks on the 4th.

Trent may have a boyish name but she is actually a girl. She was named after her famous father Trent Lee and her dam Soft Melody. She was also a very good racer, racing at one of the top tracks in the country Wheeling Downs. Trent raced at the top levels there in AA and even competed in a Stakes Race for the best dogs racing at that track. She raced 102 races before being retired to be a mom. She has a total of 15 puppies in 3 litters listed burn 2009, 2010 and 2012 but may still have another more recent litter that will be registered to race soon. She has been living on the beautiful Blu Too Farm in Florida and has now been retired from her mom duties and is looking for a couch of her own. She will turn 11 on December 6th. Trent raced at 65lbs. She is a very young 10 and is in phenomenal shape for a 10 year old. She is extremely affectionate and is very laid back and loving. She has a pretty high prey drive so they don't believe she will be able to live with cats. Because Trent is an older girl, she qualifies for our reduced adoption fee of $200.

Fostered by (location):

Adoption Status: Adopted by the Moriau-Bisges Family of Myrtle Beach SC 7/23/16

Gretal came in from the Mardi Gras Race Track in Florida. Her last race was actually at Palm Beach February 12th and she won that race. We also found records of her racing earlier at Naples Ft Myers after starting out at the Mardi Gras Track initially. She got up to A level at Palm Beach briefly but mostly raced at the lower levels. She raced 62 races and raced at 65lbs. Gretal is a gorgeous white girl with just a small spot of red on her. We placed her brother Hanzel last year so are very happy to get her too. Gretal turned 3 on Jan 20th. Her sire is Blaze N Toddie and her dam is MW Tremayne. Gretal is a friendly girl that seems like she is adjusting to home life quickly. She is friendly and loves to play and run in her foster home's yard. Gretal passed her small dog test with no interest. Although she is good with other dogs, she doesn't seem to be with another dog. She is definitely a dog that loves people and loves attention so she would probably not mind being an only dog that gets all the attention. Great was interested in the cat at first but quickly lost interest after the cat popped her for sniffing him. She has been fostered with a cat for some time and is very respectful of that cat. She has been around kids and likes kids. She is very snuggly and just wants to be in your lap or as close as possible to you, so doesn't seem to have any space issues at all. She marks like a boy and will even hike one leg to pee which is pretty unusual for such a beautiful girly girl. Because she tends to be a marker she will need very close supervision in any new home during the potty training phase. A very loving girl that will absolutely love her family and so cute!

His sire is the famous Trent Lee and his dam is Greys Dance Away. Blessing raced 85 races at Tri State in WV and Mardi Gras and Melbourne in Florida. He mainly raced at the lower levels. He is a playful, happy, goofy, boy that is very friendly. He passed his cat test and should be fine to live in a home with cats or small dogs. He is living in a foster home with small dogs and sleeps curled up with them. His foster home also has children and he does great with kids. Because he is bouncy and playful he needs a home with kids past the toddler age. He would be likely to knock over a very small child in his enthusiasm to greet it. Blessing is a good boy that is very sweet and so happy! Hedoes have some energy and needs to get some exercise in the form of running in a fenced yard, playing or walks. He is a fun guy that isn't a total couch potato like some greyhounds. He would love to have a family that would include him in activities outside their home.

His sister CTW NotGonnaBeg and his two brothers CTW Nitrous and CTW Nay Sayer were also placed through our group so we are very excited to get Nero. He will turn 4 on December 14th. His sire is the famous Lonesome Cry and his dam is CTW Make It Work. He just retired from he Birmingham Race Track where his littermates also raced. He also raced at Gulf Race Track briefly. He raced longer than his littermates and got up to the top A level. He raced 118 races. He is very friendly and happy guy but we hear he has been stressed by being moved into a new kennel at the Birmingham Adoption Kennel. He has been licking the crate obsessively, drooling and doesn't seem to like the new crate. So he may be a sensitive guy that doesn't like change. Like his littermates he loves any type of attention.

Coco came in from the Sanford Orlando track. She is a big red girl that raced at 68lbs. She turned 3 on January 30th. Her sire is the famous Flying Hydrogen and her dam is KB's Pure Life. Coco also raced at Palm Beach and Daytona Beach before ending up at Sanford Orlando. Coco is happy happy happy! Tail wags furiously and she even does a greyhound grin! She loves everyone and we doubt if she has ever met a stranger. Very outgoing and confident. She does get very excited to see you and makes some noise in her crate, so wouldn't be a good dog for apartment or townhouse living. Coco passed her cat test easily with just a few interested sniffs. She met a small white dog and showed no interest in chasing him so should be fine to live with cats or smaller dogs. Coco is very loving and loves being with people. She hasn't had one accident in her foster home. She is excellent on leash. Coco loves to play with toys. She does stairs easily and isn't phased by much. She has settled into foster care very well.
