Ding Dong is a sweet boy with a very silly name. Although he is a wonderful guy, his name seems to make people shy away from meeting him. He has been waiting on a home since his last race in July of 2025. Ding Dong was born in Ireland but raced in UK at Oxford Race Course. Ding Dong was a very good racer running at A level and winning 12 of his 52 races. He almost always placed in the top 4 in every other race, so obviously is not actually a ding dong. He weighs 70lbs, so is a mid-sized male. His sire is Cabra Firmino and his dam is Black Buzey. He was born September 1st of 2022. Ding Dong did not pass his cat tests, so needs a home without them. He has been living in a home with a Terrier and gets along well with other dogs. He was placed briefly in a home in Florida, but was returned because they didn't have a fenced yard and they had to leash walk him.They felt he needed a fenced yard to play in. Ding Dong is in a temporary foster home now in Florida and is doing really well there. They report that Ding Dong loves meeting new people and loves walks, toys and petting. He walks well on lead and eats well. Ding Dong would be fine as an only dog, but he wouldn't mind a home with another dog. His foster home has reported no food aggression or sleep startle. Ding Dong is a very sweet affectionate guy that loves people. He is with an adoption group in Florida and this is a courtesy post for them since he is the dog that has been with them the longest. He can be moved up from Florida if the right home for him becomes available.
