Kordell came to us directly from the WV farm where he was born. He had an injury to his back when he was 3-4 months old. He got the injury when playing with other pups and his owner wasn't sure what actually happened. Kordell recovered, but his back has always looked a bit different - a little more bowed than most. But nothing even that noticeable. His owner knew he wouldn't be able to race, so he never went to training or to the race track. Kordell runs and plays and doesn't seem handicapped by his injury. Our vet is going to check him over but at this time he appears to be healthy and has showed no sign of being in any pain. Kordell is a very young guy that won't even turn 2 until May 31st. His sire is Top Of The Pile and his Dam is Fly Margorie G. Kordell has been a little nervous, as expected, with all the changes he has experienced since he left the farm. He is very loving though and seems like he is going to be a velcro dog. He wants to be with people and especially seems to love children. He passed his cat test easily without any interest in chasing. He also did well when meeting a small white dog. He was good with the other greyhounds he met on his trip. This is a great pup that is going to be a wonderful pet. He is a mid sized guy that probably weighs around 65lbs, but needs to gain 5-10 lbs. His owner says he tends to stay on the thin side and can be hard to keep weight on.
