So many people help make BeachBoundHounds possible!

The Silent Auction crew before the bidding begins, ready for the excitement!  GC wishes to thank everyone who generously brings a donation or contributes to the auction during the year of preparation before each event- much of our operating capital late in the year comes from this one auction so lovingly filled with items to help us.   To the right, Greyhound Rescue Foundation of Tennessee helps out with the necessary job of keeping everyone clean.  It's a HUGE help to us every year!  We just love their sense of humor about a 'dirty job'.

All pampered pooches require their bowls to be HELD for them!  GPA-SC offers a wonderful Ice Cream Social for the dogs every year free to all guests.  Their volunteers scoop frozen yogurt and top it off with crushed biscuits for the gourmets.  Their humans can request their own cone...without the biscuits of course!

Beach Bonz, the annual treat created by the Seifstein family of Charleston as a gift to all of our beachgoers.  Last year they added the cool painted tub pulled in a wagon.

Part of our "Core of Greytness", the GC Core Group staff the night before BBH05 began.  Notice even Dusty made an appearance!

Thanks ladies, I love ya!

Thoughts from Kim:

There's no way I could thank everyone here that makes all of this possible.  We are so lucky to have families who have made BBH 'their own', including the folks who help us in the events above.  It's all an expression of the kindness and sincerity of the greyhound community, the spirit of cooperation we foster among adoption groups, and the incredible dedication of our GC volunteers who believe in the vision Robert and I had all those years ago in making this a reality.  Even though words can't express that gratitude, please know that I personally consider it an honor to come every year to BBH and see all of my friends.  I am honored by the devotion of our GC members and every one of you who contribute to BBH every year.  Thank you for adding so much richness to this common vision-- a weekend at the beach in peace and greyhound love.

Kim and Robert, with our greyhound travelers Florida & BugBite
